Goulburn, N.S.W., Australia
Railway Barracks, 197 Braidwood Rd, Goulburn NSW 2580
Enjoy 2 days and 3 nights of Collegiate Shag goodness!
We welcome dancers from all over Australia and abroad to join us for an intensive weekend of collaborative workshops, discussion sessions and social dances celebrating the Australian Collegiate Shag community!
You can dance up a storm to a live band and local DJs, attend a variety of workshops, watch historic clips, practice on the railway platform or relax beside the fireplace - the choice is yours! Amongst workshops there will be plenty of time to relax and get to know your fellow shaggers, plus all of this is set in the charming historic Railway Barracks in Goulburn NSW. Originally built in 1935 and recently renovated, the venue is complete with a fireplace, wooden floors, vintage and reproduction decor, a picturesque garden and a train carriage! (Yes, a REAL train carriage)
Located just one hour from Canberra and two from Sydney.
Workshops aimed at intermediate to advanced level dancers.
Hosted by Casey Crockford and David Jamieson.
