Collegiate Shag Workshop with Rūta Raginytė and Arnas Razgūnas (LT) and Swing Party with Carolina Reapers Swing
Arnas Razgūnas is a gentleman and passionate professional in everything he does. A dedicated swing dancer and instructor focusing on Lindy Hop and Collegiate Shag, co-founder of What a Jazz Dance Studio in Vilnius and co-organizer of the one and only Balboa & Shag festival in Lithuania – Swing Paradise. Driven by the pure joy and power of swing music, Arnas is actively promoting jazz culture and education with Rhythm Lord Brothers in Lithuania. Rich experience in teaching every day local classes grants quality and fun with clear explanation of his material by expressing swing music and yourself in it. Along with Eglė Nemickaitė and Swingout.pl community he helped creating a Collegiate Shag scene in Lithuania and Poland.
Rūta is a passionate swing dancer coming from Vilnius, Lithuania. She started with Ballroom dances and later spent some years in the Street Dance scene. Rūta discovered Jazz music and Lindy Hop seven years ago. Since then she practiced various Swing Era dances including Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz, Tap, Balboa and Shag. From the first dance of Collegiate Shag she fell in love with the energy and playfulness of it. Rūta enjoys the social aspect of dance the most and finds that the most satisfying thing in it is great partner connection.
